Photorealistic Carpet - Court Scene (Best Viewed "Large")

Traditional Persian scene: inside the Achaemenid court (e.g., ca. 550 - 330 BCE; Darius the Great, Xerxes, etc.)

Unconventional medium - carpet, not oil paint and canvas.

I wish I knew whether the final product is entirely the result of human effort, or whether the loom is controlled by software.

If there's no software involved and this carpet is produced using conventional techniques, then it is a truly phenomenal piece.

These ornaments based on oriental carpets, destroying and rebuilding the balance and the basic composition of the original object.
